Summer Vacation Course
Our Summer Vacation Courses improve students' general English language skills and include work on grammar, vocabulary, communication and presentation skills. All the pupils have lessons for half the day and take part in activities on the other half. The activities sessions are also attended by local day pupils so that the international pupils have the chance to practice their English naturally.
Activities include a huge selection - sports, creative arts and technology, dance, fitness, cookery, team games and just about anything else we can think of.
Full day excursions are included to destinations such as Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and London.
We welcome groups and individuals.
- Placement test on application and arrival.
- All courses run for two weeks from Tuesday-Tuesday.
- There are two courses running simultaneously; Juniors aged 8-11 and Teens aged 12-15.
- Each class has an average of 14 students.
- The course provides 15 hours of intensive English tuition per week (to include presentation skills).
- Our syllabus offers varied, current and meaningful topics to engage and motivate students. All course materials are provided.
- Teachers are suitably qualified; trained and vetted.
- Enjoyable activities to encourage confidence in speaking more fluently.
- End-of-course report and certificate.
- All lessons take place in our modern humanities building. All rooms have state of the art teaching equipment and projectors.
