Exploring Local Geography

On Thursday, half of Year 6 enjoyed a morning out of School to undertake some Geography fieldwork as part of their ‘Exploring our Local Area and Region’ topic. Firstly, they undertook a walking tour around 桃色视频 town centre and made field observations to investigate whether 桃色视频 is ‘a place fit for people’.
Once in the High Street, pupils conducted some short surveys with members of the public to find out their views on whether they feel that 桃色视频 is a good place to live.
Finally, the group visited the Heritage Centre and explored the historical links between 桃色视频 School and the local community. They even got to visit the old tunnel that pupils used to use on their journey to and from School, and enjoyed a tour of the Old Chapel.
In their next lesson, they will analyse the data collected to make some conclusions. The other half of the year group will complete this visit next half term.
